About This role

Temp 2nd Officer – Private – 100m+ Motor Yacht

Hill Robinson is presenting an opportunity for a Temp 2nd Officer to join a highly desirable 100m+ motor yacht. The vessel operates on a busy dual-season itinerary and runs a private programme.

Start date / End date: 31st August – 7th November

Start: Europe

Salary: Paid in EUR

Experience and attributes required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role on an 80m+ motor yacht
  • Strong navigation and bridge skills
  • Experience with passage planning is essential
  • Previous yachting experience is mandatory
  • Strong guest operation experience

Qualifications required:

  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate (valid for a minimum of 6 months)
  • STCW (fully updated)
  • OOW Unlimited or Chief Mate Unlimited (preferred)
  • AMSchutz ECDIS – NX experience

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
