About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, professional Watchkeeper/Deckhand for a beautifully maintained 110' private motor yacht. The highest priority for this role is managing systems monitoring, security, and safety watches while the vessel is stationary at her home dock in Boca Raton. During cruising seasons, the role transitions into active deckhand duties and guest trips. Candidates with basic engineering or mechanical knowledge to confidently oversee ship systems in port are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

· Home-Dock Watchkeeping: Provide primary, vigilant shore-side watchkeeping and security at the Boca Raton dock.

· Systems Monitoring: Monitor shore power connections, bilge alarms, AC systems, and vessel lines daily while in port.

· Engineering Assistance: Assist with preventative engine room fluid checks, fuel transfers, and basic system troubleshooting.

· Deck Maintenance: Execute exterior washdowns, stainless polishing, and teak maintenance to keep the yacht pristine in conjunction with shoreside detailing teams.

· Seasonal Cruising: Transition to standard deckhand duties, line handling, and tender operations during seasonal trips.

Requirements:

· Proven experience in vessel watchkeeping, systems monitoring, or yacht security.

· Strong basic mechanical/engineering aptitude to spot engine room and general anomalies early.

· STCW/10 and current ENG1 Medical Certificate.

· Valid B1/B2 visa and passport (must be legally able to cruise to the Bahamas).

· Clean, professional appearance with a positive, self-motivated attitude.

· Non-smoker, drug-free (testing required).
