House Manager - Dubai

We are delighted to be working with a European family based in Dubai to help them recruit an experienced, live-out House Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive professional to take ownership of the smooth day-to-day running of a busy family home with two children.

The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple properties on behalf of the family and will bring genuine experience of working within a home where children are present. Familiarity with the pace and expectations of European families will be a real advantage, as will a calm, discreet, and hands-on approach to household management.

Preference will be given to candidates already based in Dubai, given the client's wish to begin interviewing next week; those able to relocate immediately will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the family home, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and service at all times.
• Take full responsibility for the management and upkeep of multiple family properties.
• Recruit, manage, and coordinate household staff, ensuring consistency across all properties.
• Work closely with the children's nanny/nannies to maintain a calm, consistent, and harmonious home environment.
• Liaise directly with the family to anticipate and manage their daily needs and preferences.
• Manage household budgets, invoices, and supplier accounts, keeping accurate financial records.
• Oversee household inventory and procurement, ensuring supplies are maintained to the family's standards.
• Coordinate household calendars and scheduling, including appointments, deliveries, and contractor visits.
• Prepare properties ahead of the family's arrival when travelling between residences.
• Source, liaise with, and manage external contractors, tradespeople, and service providers.
• Maintain thorough household records, including staff rotas, maintenance schedules, and supplier contacts.
• Uphold absolute discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.

Ideal Candidate

• EU passport essential.
• Proven experience managing multiple properties for a private family.
• Experience working within a family home with children.
• Previous experience with European families strongly preferred.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident managing household staff and juggling competing priorities.
• Discreet, trustworthy, and professional.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to relocate immediately if required.
• Excellent communication skills.

Package

• Live-out position based in Dubai.
• Immediate start preferred.
• Salary: 30,000 AED – 40,000 AED net per month.
• Live-out position; own vehicle required.
• Health insurance.
• Working schedule: 50 hours per week, 5 days a week.
