House Manager – Kuwait

We are working with a highly regarded Kuwaiti family to appoint an experienced Live-Out House Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a private residence for one of the family members. The household comprises a main residence and a seaside chalet approximately 40 minutes away and is supported by a wider team of around 12 staff, including chefs, drivers, housekeepers, and butlers.

The House Manager will take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the home, leading and elevating the existing team while helping to raise service standards across the household. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, hands-on House Manager to bring structure, polish, and consistency to an already well-established private household.

The household supports a multi-generational family, including adult children and grandchildren, and there may be a pet or two to consider. Some travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management and smooth running of the household.
• Lead, train, and support a household team including chefs, drivers, housekeepers, and butlers.
• Raise service standards and implement improved household procedures.
• Support with the recruitment and onboarding of new staff as required.
• Develop and maintain household schedules and operating procedures.
• Oversee the care of fine art, silverware, and other valuable household items.
• Assist with the planning and smooth execution of private events.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and bookings on behalf of the family.
• Provide light PA support alongside core household management duties.
• Liaise with external suppliers and service providers.
• Maintain the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality at all times.

Ideal Candidate

• Extensive experience as a House Manager within a private UHNW household.
• Confident, hands-on leader with strong staff management experience.
• Professional and approachable, with a warm, personable manner rather than overly formal.
• Excellent standards of personal hygiene and presentation.
• Highly discreet, trustworthy, and used to working within private households.
• Fluent English essential.
• Comfortable leading a multicultural team.
• Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to travel when required.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Package

• Working schedule: six days a week, approximately 10 hours per day.
• Salary: $5,000 net per month.
• Visa and medical insurance provided.
• One month's paid holiday per year.
• Some travel required.
