About This role

Deckhand – Private 40m M/Y

Hill Robinson is excited to present a Deckhand to join a 40m+ Motor Yacht. The yacht runs a Single Season itinerary, private program and is based in Florida.

– Start date: Mid September

– Itinerary: Florida/East Coast US

– Leave: 38 days + discretionary days off

– Salary: Paid in USD

Experience and attributes required:

– 1+ years of yachting experience

– Must be confident tender driver – yacht has a large tender

– Solid deck maintenance knowledge

Qualifications Required:

– STCW (fully updated) with PDSD

– Seafarer's Medical Certificate (with min 6 months' validity)

– Seafarer's discharge book

– B1B2 (Mandatory)

Applicants must meet the listed criteria to be considered.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
