Are you an experienced Estate Manager, Property Manager, Farm Manager or Superyacht professional looking for a long-term position within a beautiful private family estate? A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced solo candidate or couple to join a well-established 80-acre private estate in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

The role

For a solo candidate, the role will be approximately 70% household / estate management and 30% external property and farm support.

Responsibilities will include:

• Overall management and presentation of the residence and estate
• Coordinating trades, contractors and regular maintenance
• Managing property maintenance schedules and service requirements
• Overseeing vehicles, garages, pool, gym, wine cellar and entertainment areas
• Managing household inventory and restocking
• Organising servicing of specialist systems and equipment
• Assisting with family errands and occasional transport requirements
• Supporting private functions, dinner parties and events
• General outdoor maintenance and presentation
• Assisting the existing Farm Hand where required
• Supporting horses and stables where experienced
• Maintaining organised records and implementing a property management system

The estate has an established team including household staff, a dedicated Farm Hand, cleaner, casual horse groomers, gardeners and an experienced Builder / Project Manager.

The property has approximately 9 horses and 30 cattle across 80 acres, with several ongoing construction and improvement projects.

Couple opportunity

An experienced couple would also be considered, with the role potentially divided between:

• House / Estate Management – household operations, property management, contractors, family support and entertaining.
• Farm / Maintenance – working alongside the existing Farm Hand with grounds, maintenance, machinery, property projects and horses.

Ideal candidate

The family is looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in private estates, luxury homes, farms, yachts or similar environments
• Highly organised, proactive and hands-on
• Confident managing contractors and multiple projects
• Discreet, professional and trustworthy
• Comfortable working independently
• An excellent communicator with strong attention to detail

Horse experience and/or professional cooking skills would be highly regarded but are not essential.

Accommodation

A one-bedroom Tiny Home with bathroom, kitchen and living area is available for the right candidate. A new caretaker's residence is also currently under construction and is expected to be completed in approximately nine months. The role is also open to Gold Coast locals, who have their own accommodation.

Package

Solo: $110,000–$120,000 AUD + Super. Couple: Package TBC depending on experience. Accommodation, vehicle and additional allowances may be available. Start date negotiable.
