About This role

Rotational 2nd Engineer – Private 60m+ MY

Start date: 30th October (TBC)
Location: Europe / Northern Red Sea
Package: Salary in Euros – 176 days leave/year (2:2)

Experience and attributes required:

  • 2-5 years of yachting experience on similar size, depending on background.
  • Technically strong, proactive engineer with experience maintaining and operating AV-IT systems and tender maintenance.
  • Must be open minded and prepared to work well within a professional established onboard team.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work 12/12 on season, while communicating effectively with Chief Engineer during handovers.

Qualifications required:

  • EOOW Unlimited or SV 2nd Engineer <9000KW
  • Fully updated STCW training
  • Proficiency in Designated Security Duties Certificate
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate (min 6 months validity)
  • Seaman's Discharge Book

Candidates must meet the listed criteria.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
