OVERVIEW

A private family is seeking an experienced and highly capable Estate Housekeeper, with the role also suited to a domestic couple, to manage the day-to-day upkeep and presentation of a high-quality private residence at the Farm. This is a long-term lifestyle role, ideally suited to candidates seeking stability, a high-quality living environment, and a varied working position across both rural and Sydney residences.

PRIMARY ROLE – HOUSEKEEPER

  • Daily housekeeping and cleaning
  • Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
  • Bed making and evening turndown service
  • Kitchen upkeep and organisation
  • Household inventory and supplies management
  • Maintaining a consistent, hotel-level finish across the home

LIGHT HOSPITALITY DUTIES

  • Tea and coffee service
  • Preparation of simple, healthy meals (breakfasts / light dinners)
  • Assistance with occasional entertaining
  • Table setting and presentation

OPTIONAL SECOND ROLE (FOR COUPLE APPLICANTS)

Where applying as a couple, the second partner may undertake a combination of:

  • Cooking (home-style, high-quality meals)
  • Driving (errands, airport transfers if required)
  • General property maintenance
  • Gardening / grounds support
  • Assistance with operations at Farm

WORK STRUCTURE

  • Primarily based at Farm
  • Occasional travel to Double Bay residence (Sydney)
  • Flexible working hours, including split shifts (morning / evening)
  • Long-term, stable role (not rotational)

ACCOMMODATION

  • On-site accommodation provided at Farm
  • Fully accommodated apartment provided when working in Sydney

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Essential:

  • Proven experience in private households or high-end hospitality
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • High attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and professional
  • Organised and able to work independently
  • Non-smoker
  • Seeking a long-term, stable role
  • Current drivers licence

Highly Regarded:

  • Couple applicants with complementary skills
  • Cooking ability (simple, healthy meals)
  • Practical skills (driving, maintenance, gardening)
  • Experience managing multiple properties
