About This role

Captain – Private – 40m+ M/Y (Permanent)

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced and professional Captain to join a well-run private motor yacht on a permanent contract. The yacht operates exclusively for private use, with a relaxed but highly professional program.

Start date: 3-4 weeks
Itinerary: Mediterranean & Caribbean
Package: Salary paid in Euros, leave 38 days

Experience / Skills required:

  • Previous experience as Captain on similar-sized yachts
  • Fluent Mandarin speaker (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of Mediterranean & Caribbean
  • Experience running a private program with high standards of safety and compliance
  • Hands-on, organized, and proactive management style

Qualifications required:

  • MCA Master 500 GT (minimum)
  • STCW (6 months validity)
  • ENG1 (6 months validity)
  • Seaman's Discharge Book

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
