About This role

First Mate – Private/Charter 30m M/Y

Hill Robinson is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced First Mate to join a 30m+ Motor Yacht. The programme runs private and light charter, with a single season itinerary based in the Mediterranean.

MUST hold: Master 200gt

Currently in Italy

Start date: Mid August
Package: Salary paid in Euros, 38 days leave
Itinerary: Mediterranean / Winter most likely in Italy

Experience / attributes required:

  • 2+ years of yachting experience
  • Confident in working unsupervised on deck
  • Excellent team-player
  • Great communicator
  • Experience working in delivering high-quality service; charter experience a plus

Qualifications required:

  • STCW (fully updated)
  • Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (mandatory)
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate (with 6 months+ validity)
  • Master 200gt (Mandatory)
  • Must be willing to undergo extensive background checks and pre-employment drug test.

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
