About This role

Shipyard Electrician 100m+ Private M/Y

Start date: Mid Sept 2026 (subject to change) – beg Feb 2027
Location: Europe
Package: Salary in Euros. Leave included in daily rate

Experience and attributes required:

  • Minimum 3 years working as an electrician
  • Written/spoken English at good standard
  • Experience with electrical installations/refits
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Good understanding of lock out/tag out procedures
  • Good communication skills – ability to work as part of a team or independently

Qualifications required (all mandatory):

  • Minimum – Level 3 NVQ Electrical qualification (or equivalent) or ETO COC
  • Up to date STCW with PDSD
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate valid for at least 6 months
  • Seaman's Discharge Book

Only candidates meeting the listed criteria will be considered.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
