About This role

Bosun – Private 40m Motor Yacht

Hill Robinson is excited to present a Bosun to join a 40m+ Motor Yacht. The yacht runs a Dual Season Itinerary, private program and is based in Florida.

– Start date: End of July/Early August
– Itinerary: Florida/Mediterranean
– Leave: 38 days + discretionary days off
– Salary: Paid in USD

Experience and attributes required:
– 2+ years of yachting experience
– At least 1+ year in a leadership role such as a Lead Deckhand
– Must be confident tender driver – yacht has a large tender
– Must be able to work without supervision
– Solid deck maintenance knowledge
– Strong management and leadership

Qualifications Required:
– Yacht Master (Mandatory)
– STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
– Seafarer's Medical Certificate (with min 6 months' validity)
– Seafarer's discharge book
– B1B2 (Mandatory)

Candidates must meet the listed criteria.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
