About This role

2nd Engineer (EOOW) Opportunity for a 40m Private Support Vessel

Start Date: Mid November
Location: Europe/Middle East
Package: Salary in Euro – 176 days’ leave (2:2)

Experience and Attributes Required:

Must have at least 1-2 years’ experience as an Engineer, preferably a mix of commercial and yachting
Previous MTU experience beneficial
Good mechanical knowledge, solid understanding of tender engines and outboards.
Familiar with basic electrical testing, basic HVAC experience.
Practical and pragmatic—mature and level-headed.
An interest in fishing/sailing/water sports a bonus

Qualifications Required:

SV Second Engineer or EOOW
Fully updated STCW
Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Min 6 months validity)
Seaman’s Discharge Book

Only candidates who meet the listed criteria will be considered.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
