About This role

Engineer – Private 35m M/Y

An excellent permanent opportunity is available for an experienced Engineer to join a 35m private motor yacht based in Palma, Mallorca.

The yacht is looking for a reliable, technically capable Engineer who is seeking long-term stability.

The ideal candidate will already be established in Mallorca and hold the necessary documentation to live and work in Spain as a tax-paying resident.

Start date: Immediate

Itinerary: Mediterranean

Package: Salary paid in Euros; salary and leave package DOE

Experience/Skills required:

  • Previous experience as an Engineer aboard similar-sized motor yachts
  • Strong technical knowledge of yacht engineering systems, machinery and planned maintenance
  • Confident managing day-to-day engineering operations independently
  • Proactive approach to preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Organised, reliable and committed to maintaining accurate technical records
  • Seeking a permanent position with a genuine long-term commitment
  • Ideally already settled in Mallorca
  • Must possess the necessary documentation to live, work and pay tax in Spain

Qualifications required:

  • Minimum Y4 Certificate of Competency
  • STCW (fully updated)
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate
  • Seaman's Discharge Book (preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
