About This role

Deckhand – 50m Private Motor Yacht

We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Deckhand to join a new 50m private motor yacht.

Start Date: 21 July

Itinerary: USA & Mediterranean

Package: Salary paid in USD, 38 days leave.

Experience & Skills Required:

Previous experience on private yachts preferred

Knowledge of deck operations and yacht maintenance

Confident with washdowns, polishing, teak care, and general upkeep

Experience with tender driving and watersports operations is advantageous

Good understanding of line handling, mooring, anchoring, and docking procedures

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Professional appearance and strong work ethic

Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn

Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards onboard

Qualifications Required

B1B2 VISA ESSENTIAL

Valid STCW (fully updated)

Valid Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (ENG1 or equivalent)

Powerboat Level 2 (preferred)

Candidates should ensure they meet the requirements; only those matching the owner's criteria will be considered.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
