Magnitude Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly organised Purser to join the interior team onboard a prestigious 70m+ private motor yacht. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced yacht Purser looking to join a professional programme with a balanced 2:2 rotation.

Working closely with the Captain, Chief Stewardess and senior management team, you will oversee all onboard administration, financial management and crew logistics while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of vessel operations.

The yacht primarily cruises the Mediterranean, with worldwide itineraries possible.

2/2 Rotation, EUR Salary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all onboard financial administration and accounting
  • Process crew payroll, cash handling and expense reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reporting
  • Coordinate customs, immigration and port clearance procedures
  • Manage crew travel arrangements and logistics
  • Maintain crew documentation and certification records
  • Liaise with management company, suppliers and external agencies
  • Assist with charter administration when required
  • Support the Captain with administrative duties and compliance documentation
  • Ensure all paperwork is maintained to the highest professional standard

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 1 year of Purser experience onboard a similar-sized yacht (2 years preferred)
  • Previous experience onboard 70m+ yachts is advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using financial accounting software
  • Knowledge of SAGE, Pinpoint, customs and immigration procedures is highly desirable
  • Charter experience would be beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management
  • Professional, discreet and confident communicator
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure within a busy luxury environment

Qualifications

Essential

  • STCW Basic Safety Training
  • Valid ENG1 Medical
  • Previous yacht Purser experience

Desirable

  • Finance or accounting qualifications
  • Experience with SAGE accounting software
