About This role

Chief Officer opportunity aboard Private 50m+ M/Y

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chief Officer to join a vessel cruising throughout the Pacific Asia Region.

Start date: Latest 27th July or earlier

Package: Salary paid in AUD

Itinerary: Pacific Asia Region

Experience/Skills required:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as Chief on a similar sized yacht
  • Excellent bridge management / leadership skills
  • Strong ISM knowledge and experience
  • Must be a hands on and proactive mentor
  • Professional appearance with an enthusiastic approach

Qualifications required:

  • Chief Mate 3000
  • STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate (with min 6 months' validity)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
