Relief Second Officer
Vessel: Private Motor Yacht · Mediterranean (currently)
Contract: Mid-July – Mid-September 2026 · Relief cover (~2 months)

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a qualified Relief Second Officer for a large metre+ motor yacht currently operating in the Mediterranean. The position provides relief cover from around mid July to mid September 2026. The vessel is based in Europe at time of joining — Europe-based candidates preferred. Preferably with applicable visa(s) in hand. Career progression opportunities within the fleet.

MANDATORY CERTIFICATES & DOCUMENTS
• STCW II/1 — Officer of the Watch (Navigational Watch, 3000GT+)
• GMDSS — General Operator Certificate (GOC)
• ECDIS (approved type)
• Radar / ARPA
• Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF)
• Medical First Aid (MFAC) or Medical Care (MCARE)
• Valid seafarers medical certificate (e.g. ENG-1)
• Valid passport
• References

IDEAL PROFILE
• Europe-based — vessel in Mediterranean
• Available from mid July 2026 for approx. 2 months +/-
• Experience on large private / charter motor yachts preferred
• Professional, presentable, strong situational awareness
