About This role

Bosun – 40m+ Private M/Y

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bosun to join a vessel cruising throughout the Pacific Asia region.

Start Date: 10th July

Itinerary: Pacific Asia region

Package: Competitive Salary paid in AUD

Experience/Skills required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a lead role on a similar sized yacht
  • Excellent deck maintenance skills with an eye to detail
  • Strong tender driving and water sports skills
  • Must be hands on and proactive with the ability to lead the deck team
  • Professional appearance

Qualifications required:

  • OOW CoC – AMSA or MCA (as Min)
  • STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
  • Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (with min 6 months’ validity)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
