About This role

Deckhand – Private 40m+ M/Y

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Deckhand to join a vessel cruising throughout the Pacific Asia region.

Start date: 10th July

Itinerary: Pacific Asia Region

Package: Competitive Salary paid in AUD

Experience/Skills required:

  • Minimum 1 season experience on superyachts in a similar role
  • Exterior maintenance knowledge of painting, varnishing, stripping, waxing and products
  • Exceptional experience in tender driving and towing for water sports is preferable
  • Team player and hard working with excellent mentorship skills
  • Professional appearance

Qualifications required:

  • Powerboat Level 2 (minimum)
  • STCW (fully updated) with PSA/PDSD
  • Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (with 6 months’ validity)

Candidates should ensure they meet all the criteria listed.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
