Temporary Chef – Bol, Brač

We are working with a private client to help them hire an experienced private chef for a short-term placement in Bol, on the island of Brač, Croatia. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented chef to provide exceptional in-home dining, cooking for between four to ten guests, with flexibility around menu style and service. The role is offered on an initial one-month basis, with the possibility of extending into a longer-term arrangement for the right candidate. Accommodation is provided for the full duration of the placement.

Food costs are covered separately by the client, meaning the quoted rate relates purely to the chef's services. There are no specific dietary requirements to cater for, and an immediate start is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily meals for up to ten guests to an impeccable culinary standard
• Design varied, seasonal menus tailored to guest tastes and occasions
• Source fresh, high-quality local produce and ingredients
• Manage the kitchen efficiently, including stock control and food storage
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, health and safety throughout
• Adapt menus and service style to suit both relaxed and formal occasions
• Liaise with household staff to coordinate meal timings and guest schedules
• Ensure the kitchen is kept clean, organised and guest-ready at all times
• Manage food budgeting, with costs reimbursed separately by the client
• Provide flexible service throughout the placement, including evenings as required
• Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times

Ideal Candidate

• Must hold an EU passport
• Proven experience as a private or villa chef, ideally within a UHNW or luxury setting
• Confident cooking for groups of up to ten guests
• Skilled across a variety of cuisines and cooking styles
• Available for an immediate start
• Willing to relocate temporarily to Bol, Brač for the duration of the placement
• Flexible, adaptable and comfortable working in a private, high-end environment
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Professional, discreet and personable

Package

• Duration: 1 month initially, with the possibility of a longer-term arrangement
• Rate: From €7,000 per month, all-inclusive for the chef's services
• Accommodation: Provided for the duration of the placement
• Food costs: Covered separately by the client
