Silver Swan Recruitment is delighted to be working with a distinguished private family in Doha, Qatar, to source a highly professional and experienced House Manager/PA to support their household. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established residence, catering to a family of four adults and three children in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
The ideal candidate will be discreet, organised, polished, and capable of managing both personal and household operations with exceptional attention to detail, overseeing household staff and supporting the principal/family with day-to-day personal and administrative needs.
Due to the nature of this household, candidates should be prepared to undergo thorough background screening, medical assessments, and any additional security protocols as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the household, ensuring all standards are maintained to the highest level
- Supervise and coordinate household staff including housekeepers, chefs, drivers, nannies and butlers, along with external service providers
- Prepare staff schedules, monitor performance, and ensure duties are completed efficiently
- Manage household inventories including groceries, supplies, uniforms, toiletries and luxury items
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, cleaning schedules, landscaping, pest control and other household services
- Ensure the residence is always guest-ready and maintained to luxury hospitality standards
- Manage calendars, appointments, meetings and personal schedules for the principal/family
- Coordinate personal shopping, wardrobe organisation, dry cleaning and tailoring
- Arrange restaurant reservations, events, social engagements and VIP bookings
- Organise gifts, special occasions, family events and hospitality arrangements
- Arrange and coordinate international and domestic travel, including flights, hotels, visas and itineraries
- Monitor household expenses, petty cash, invoices and payments
- Liaise with accountants, suppliers and service providers, comparing quotations and negotiating where required
- Handle confidential personal, administrative and household matters with absolute discretion
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with High-Net-Worth individuals or private households is essential
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Able to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English; French considered an advantage
- Well-presented, professional and polished
- Trustworthy, discreet and highly confidential in handling sensitive matters
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible to travel when required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email management and online booking systems
Package
- Working schedule: 6 days a week
- Accommodation provided (live-in) – within the residence or separate to the property
- Visa and health insurance provided
- Salary: $4,500 – $6,500 net per month

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.
Language Requirements:
