CHIEF OFFICER / ROTATIONAL CAPTAIN OPPORTUNITY | 47M PRIVATE/CHARTER

We are recruiting for an experienced Chief Officer to join a brand new 47m private/charter yacht, with the opportunity to step up into a rotational Captain position after approximately 4 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, capable, and highly professional officer who is ready for the next step in their career. The successful candidate will initially join as Chief Officer, working closely alongside a very experienced Captain who is happy to guide, support, and help prepare them to transition into the Captain's role.

Once stepping up to Captain, the position will move onto a 2:2 rotation.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong operational experience, and the confidence to lead from the front while remaining humble, team-focused, and eager to learn the vessel and program properly before taking command.

Requirements / Ideal Experience:

• Must hold Master 500GT or Master 3000GT

• Strong Chief Officer or Captain experience

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Confident with safety, deck operations, crew management, and vessel procedures.

• Professional, calm, and solutions-focused

• Comfortable starting as Chief Officer for the first 4 months before stepping up

• Private/charter experience essential.

• New build experience is a plus

• Team player with a positive, hands-on attitude
