We are looking for a Deckhand/Stewardess for a 30m SY (Racing Yacht)

This is an exciting opportunity for someone experienced and very interested in the sailing and racing world. The role will be varied; when guests are on you will act as Deck/Stew and be in charge of the interior. You will be responsible for inventories, managing all six containers for the yacht, and overseeing all racing crew uniforms (22 race crew).

The yacht competes in events such as PalmaVela, the Porto Cervo Maxi Rolex Cup and Les Voiles de Saint Tropez. During July and August it will cruise the Balearics with the owner for 10 days and spend two weeks cruising in October. Winters are spent based in Palma. The vessel races about 60 days a year (approximately 30 days training and 30 days racing). When the boat is in race mode you will live in your own shore-based accommodation; in cruising mode you will be on board.

Only candidates already based in Palma will be considered.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
