Silver Swan Recruitment is supporting a UHNW individual seeking an experienced Estate Manager / Butler to provide exceptional white-glove service and oversee the day-to-day management of a luxury residential portfolio based primarily in Palm Jumeirah. The role will support the Principal within a structured Family Office environment and requires an individual of the highest calibre, demonstrating absolute discretion, impeccable presentation, and the ability to seamlessly manage both personal service and multi-property household operations.

Butler & Personal Service

• Deliver white-glove butler service to the highest international and UHNW standards

• Manage and track the Principal’s daily routines, including morning schedules

• Anticipate needs proactively and adapt to the Principal’s moods and preferences

• Maintain clear, direct communication with the Principal (phone and other channels)

• Uphold impeccable personal presentation at all times (business suits required)

• Accurately document all operational and personal service details

Property & Estate Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all residences, management of all staff including housekeeping, maintenance, services teams, etc.

• Ensure pristine presentation, cleanliness, and maintenance across properties

• Recruit, train, develop SOPs, and manage household staff across the portfolio

• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers

• Handle sensitive matters including cash handling and office-related logistics

Wardrobe & Personal Asset Management

• Full wardrobe management, including packing and unpacking

• Seasonal wardrobe planning and coordination with specialists

• Oversight and safeguarding of valuables, luxury items, and personal assets

Lifestyle, Events & Hospitality

• Organise and execute private and high-profile events

• Coordinate staffing, service flow, and guest experience

• Work extended hours during events when required

• Support fitness-focused and dietary requirements (Chef already in place)

• Capture memories and moments through photography when appropriate

• Support occasional charters, vacations, and attendance at high-profile events (e.g. F1, film festivals, Royal Ascot)

Organisation & Administration

• Organise the Principal’s personal life in coordination with PA and EA

• Maintain accurate records, inventories, and documentation

• Assist with recruitment of additional household staff post-commencement

• Ensure seamless communication within the Family Office structure

Experience & Professional Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience supporting UHNW individuals or families

• Formal butler training from elite or royal households – Certifications from recognised butler academies are preferred

• Strong international exposure (Europe, US, GCC preferred)

• Extensive knowledge of fine wine collections, including cellar organisation, storage conditions, inventory management, service standards, and liaison with sommeliers and merchants

• Proven experience overseeing art collections, including handling protocols, display standards, condition monitoring, and coordination with curators, conservators, and insurers

• WSET certification highly desirable

• European passport preferred

• Fluent English required; additional European languages advantageous
