Sole Engineer- 40m Private MY – Europe, Belize, Jamaica, Easter Island, South Pacific

Calling all trade engineers looking for a worldwide travelling superyacht.

Position snapshot: No ticket required. USD 9,000-10,000 per month. World traveler.

A well run, relaxed private (Dutch built) 40m MY is searching for an up-and-coming engineer to join the vessel for an immediate start. The yacht is private only and is flexible on engineering ticket. The position could suit a trade qualified engineer looking to cut their teeth on a chief engineer role, or a 2nd Engineer, mate/engineer seeking increased responsibility.

The vessel has easy access throughout the engine room. Full-time crew of 7. Great ocean-going yacht with rarely any problems.

The vessel is currently located in Italy and is about to conduct a worldwide trip with the owner who flies in and out at different locations. Only two guests onboard when on trip. The engineer candidate must have a technical background, be an up-and-comer, be keen, and does not need a specific ticket. Must be technically minded and level-headed. The vessel will head to Belize, Jamaica, Easter Island and the South Pacific.

The ideal candidate: Trade background; engineering time on yachts or commercial vessels; flexible on ticket; hands-on with engineering; active and adventurous; good foresight with spares; can help manage yard times with the captain; STCW.

Start: ASAP. Salary: US$9,000–10,000 per month DOE plus standard MLC leave.
