We are looking for an experienced Deckhand to join a 2025-build 80m private motor yacht. This is a professionally run vessel with high standards, a strong crew culture and excellent training opportunities.

The role:

  • Full deckhand position supporting all exterior operations, maintenance, and guest activities.
  • Responsible for maintaining the yacht’s exterior to the highest standards, including varnishing, painting, sealant work, repairs, and washdowns.
  • Operate tenders, support watersports, interact with guests, and assist with onboard activities.
  • Participate in navigational, anchor, and harbour watches as required.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock control.
  • Itinerary: current Mediterranean season followed by a six-week shipyard period before preparing for the Caribbean season.
  • Start date: 4 August 2026.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Deckhand on a vessel over 50m, with 18 months to 2 years preferred.
  • Proven longevity and strong tender driving skills.
  • Experience with varnishing, maintenance, and watersports beneficial.
  • Advantageous: Yachtmaster Offshore, PWC Instructor and B1/B2 visa.
  • Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
