Summary

1st Mate position - 30m - Motor yacht

Description

Looking for a temporary 1st mate for 2 months on a busy private/charter vessel. This is a position until the beginning of September.

Someone who can manage themselves and the exterior in an efficient and detailed manner. The captain would like someone who is able to come in, get their head down, and manage their own time and projects. This would suit someone with a yachtmaster and previous bosun or mate experience.

The boat has charters booked and boss trips scheduled and is currently in New York and will cruise the east coast. Therefore, candidates already in the USA will take priority.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
