Deckhand – Private/Charter 55m M/Y

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deckhand to join a busy private/charter motor yacht. This is a hands-on position within a professional deck team and would suit a career-minded candidate who enjoys all aspects of deck operations and takes pride in maintaining high standards on board.

The ideal candidate will be fully involved in day-to-day deck duties, guest operations, maintenance, and tender activities. A Yachtmaster qualification is essential, as the successful candidate will also support tender and chase boat operations when required.

Package: Salary paid in Euros, DOE, 60 days' leave

Experience/Skills required:

• Minimum 1–2 seasons' experience as a Deckhand on motor yachts
• Strong deck maintenance skills including washdowns, polishing, detailing, and line handling
• Confident tender driver with experience supporting guest operations
• Experience with watersports and PWC operations preferred
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Team player willing to assist in all areas of deck operations
• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
• Looking to build a long-term career in the yachting industry

Qualifications required:

• Yachtmaster Offshore (essential)
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer's Medical Certificate
• PWC / Jet Ski Licence preferred
• Seaman's Discharge Book (preferred)
