Position suitable for a team/couple.

We are working with a UHNW family to assist in sourcing temporary housekeeping services for their summer residence in Zurich. The family, comprising two adults, a one-year-old daughter, and two cats, will be in residence from 1st July to 16th August and are seeking reliable, experienced housekeeping support throughout their stay.

The family's two regular housekeepers are unable to travel this summer, and as such, they are open to two arrangements: either two housekeeping professionals sharing the week - one working Monday to Friday and a second covering Saturday and Sunday - or a single housekeeper who is happy to commit to a seven-day week for the full six-week duration. In either case, the family are keen to have the same individual or individuals throughout the booking to ensure consistency and familiarity.

The property is a five-bedroom villa spread across four floors. The family are health-conscious and have specific dietary requirements, including no alcohol, no pork, and no salt or sugar in their baby's food.

Please note: Candidates must hold an EU passport or the right to work in Switzerland prior to applying as, unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available. If you do not hold an EU passport or the right to work in Switzerland upon applying, your application will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of a five-bedroom, four-floor villa to an impeccable standard.
  • Carry out all day-to-day housekeeping duties including cleaning, tidying, and organisation throughout the property.
  • Care for delicate fabrics and manage all laundry requirements with appropriate attention and expertise.
  • Prepare healthy, high-quality meals in line with a Mediterranean diet using premium, fresh ingredients.
  • Prepare baby food for a one-year-old, ensuring all meals are free from sugar and salt.
  • Manage household supplies and ensure the property is consistently well-stocked and organised.
  • Provide care for two cats, including feeding and ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
  • Maintain impeccable presentation of all rooms and common areas at all times.
  • Respect and adhere to the family's dietary requirements, including no alcohol and no pork.
  • Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality at all times.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working within a private household or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Competent and confident cook with knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and healthy eating.
  • Experience preparing food for young children, with an understanding of age-appropriate nutrition.
  • Comfortable around cats and experienced in providing basic animal care.
  • Skilled in the care and laundering of delicate fabrics.
  • Professional, discreet, and well-presented at all times.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a small team depending on the arrangement.
  • Strong communication skills; additional language skills are an advantage.

Package:

  • Working schedule: Monday to Sunday (one housekeeper) or Monday to Friday / Saturday to Sunday (two housekeepers).
  • Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm.
  • Duration: 1st July – 16th August (six weeks).
  • Accommodation provided.
  • Salary: €300 net per day.
