Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Travelling Housekeeper to join the private household of two UHNW Principals.

This position calls for someone with genuinely high standards in housekeeping, personal service, and wardrobe care, across a number of luxury residences internationally.

The right person will have built a solid career in private household service and know instinctively what excellence looks like in this environment. They’ll be thorough, discreet, and take real pride in their work. Please note, this is purely hands on role with no management responsibility.

Please note: trials are scheduled for 19 – 22 June, and shortlisted candidates will ideally be available for these dates.

Job duties

Responsibilities of the Senior Travelling Housekeeper include:

• Preparing and presenting all properties ahead of Principal and guest arrivals to an immaculate, hotel quality standard
• Undertaking all aspects of high standard housekeeping including deep cleaning, surface care, and meticulous upkeep of all rooms and shared spaces
• Specialist laundry and ironing, with particular expertise in the care of couture, delicate fabrics, and luxury garments
• Comprehensive wardrobe management, including seasonal organisation, packing, and unpacking for travel
• Overseeing household provisioning and inventory management, ensuring kitchens, pantries, and household stores remain fully stocked and well ordered at all times
• Liaising professionally with contractors, maintenance personnel, and trusted household suppliers
• Providing day-to-day household support including occasional errands as required
• Travelling internationally to support the Principals across all residences in the Middle East, Europe, and the UK

Candidates must be/have:

• Extensive experience in UHNW settings, with outstanding housekeeping expertise and an instinctive understanding of five star residential standards
• Specialist knowledge in the care, laundering, and management of luxury garments and high-value textiles
• Highly organised and self-directed, with the ability to manage a residence independently and bring it to perfect readiness without supervision
• Discreet, polished, and professionally presented at all times, with the gravitas and confidence befitting a senior household professional
• A genuine eye for detail and an innate commitment to excellence
• Deeply service-minded, with the ability to anticipate needs, work quietly and efficiently, and adapt seamlessly across different household environments
• Comfortable with a high degree of international travel, including at short notice
• Full, clean driving licence
• Right to work in the UK

Accommodation
Candidates should hold an established base near/in London. When travelling with the Principals, suitable private accommodation is provided at all locations.

Hours
Full-time.

Location / Travel
The role is predominantly based in London, UK, with extensive international travel throughout the year to residences across the Middle East and Europe.

Travel patterns vary seasonally and will be discussed in full at interview stage.

Salary
£60,000 – £80,000, depending on experience and prior earnings.

Live-out at the London base. Live-in accommodation provided at all travel locations.
