About This role

Lead Deckhand - Private - 100m+ Motor Yacht

Hill Robinson is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Lead Deckhand (with a NAV Watch Rating) to join a highly desirable 100m+ Motor Yacht. The vessel operates on a busy dual season itinerary and runs a private programme.

Start date: 30th June
Itinerary: Dual Season/World Touring
Rotation: 3:1
Salary: Paid in EUR

Experience and attributes required:
– 2+ years experience in the yachting industry
– 1 year experience as a Lead Deckhand on a 70m+ motor yacht
– Excellent communication and leadership
– Good tender driving skills
– Experience in operating Vikal tenders advantageous

Qualifications required:
– Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (valid for a minimum of 6 months)
– STCW (fully updated) + Crowd Control & Crisis Management
– NAV Watch Rating (Mandatory)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
