About This role

Bosun – Private/Charter 49m M/Y

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established 49m charter motor yacht operating a busy Bahamas & USA season. The vessel is looking for a confident and hands-on Bosun with excellent tender operating skills to lead the deck team.

Start date: 26 June 2026

Itinerary: Bahamas and USA

Package: Salary paid in USD, 38 days paid leave

Experience/Skills required:

  • Minimum 1.5 year’s experience as Bosun on a similar size yacht
  • Strong deck knowledge including maintenance, watersports, and tender operations
  • Confident leader with good longevity
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Charter experience preferred

Qualifications required:

  • B1B2 VISA*
  • Yachtmaster Offshore
  • STCW (fully updated)
  • Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
  • Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
