Döhle Yacht Crew are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Service (HOS) to join a prestigious 100m+ charter motor yacht. This is a senior leadership position within a large interior team, responsible for overseeing all guest food and beverage service operations to the highest standards.

The Head of Service reports directly to the Interior Manager and plays a key role in ensuring seamless communication between departments, including the galley, interior, and senior management team. This is a highly visible, guest‑facing role requiring exceptional organisation, leadership, and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of service during guest operations, including coordinating meal service with the Head Chef, managing service flow and timing, and ensuring pantries and service areas are maintained impeccably at all times. You will lead daily briefings, assign roles within the service team, and ensure all service is delivered at a luxury, consistent standard.

During guest off periods, the Head of Service is responsible for maintaining and improving service standards through training, managing service inventories, updating SOPs, and overseeing provisioning for both guest and crew use. You will work closely with the Interior Manager on budgeting, planning, and operational improvements, while also supporting shipyard periods and project work as required.

This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop a large service team, provide structured feedback, and ensure all crew adhere to MLC regulations and onboard standards. You will also be involved in recruitment, performance management, and fostering a positive, professional team culture.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in luxury service on large yachts (80m+) or high‑end hospitality, with a proven track record in leading teams and managing complex, fast‑paced operations. Strong communication skills, discretion, and a calm, solutions‑focused approach are essential.
