About This role

Seasonal Captain – 28m Private M/Y

Hill Robinson is looking for an experienced and professional Captain to join a private M/Y, Italy based, with a lovely Owner family.

Start date: Mid June / End of October
Location: Italy
Package: Euros

Experience and attributes required:

  • Minimum of 2 years as Captain on board 25 m+ with engineering experience in dual role
  • Attention to detail with a hands-on approach, as only 2 crew on board
  • Accountable and responsible
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent English
  • Fluent Italian is an advantage
  • Non-smokers/No visible tattoos

Qualifications required:

  • Yacht Master or Master 200gt
  • AEC 1/2 (preferred)
  • STCW
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate
  • Seaman's Book

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
