Clique Private Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and highly service-driven Executive Housekeeper for an exceptional private residence.
This is a senior-level housekeeping opportunity suited to someone who genuinely takes pride in creating beautifully maintained environments where every detail is thoughtfully considered. The successful candidate will oversee the daily housekeeping operations of the residence while leading an established team with professionalism, warmth and discretion.
The principals are seeking someone calm, organised and hands-on, with a natural eye for detail and a strong understanding of luxury household standards. This role is far more than traditional housekeeping alone, it requires someone capable of building structure, maintaining consistency and ensuring the home runs seamlessly behind the scenes at all times.
Working closely alongside the House Manager and wider household team, the Executive Housekeeper will play an important role in maintaining a private environment that feels welcoming, polished and exceptionally cared for.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping and Household Operations
- Oversee the daily housekeeping operations across the residence
- Ensure all interiors are maintained to an exceptional standard at all times
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure consistency, presentation and readiness throughout the property
- Maintain detailed housekeeping schedules, inventories and operational systems
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the home through proactive organisation and attention to detail
- Assist with seasonal deep cleaning projects, wardrobe care and household organisation where required
- Maintain household supplies and coordinate ordering where necessary
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor and support the housekeeping team in a positive and professional manner
- Coordinate daily task allocation and staffing schedules
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members
- Create a calm, collaborative and respectful team environment
- Maintain strong communication across all household departments
- Support ongoing accountability, performance management and operational consistency
Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist with housekeeping related budgeting and expense tracking
- Maintain operational records, manuals and household procedures
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers where required
- Work closely with the House Manager to ensure smooth communication and continuity throughout the residence
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within a luxury private household or high end hospitality environment
- Proven experience leading or supervising housekeeping teams
- Strong understanding of luxury housekeeping standards and household operations
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Highly discreet, trustworthy and service oriented
- Calm under pressure with a proactive and solutions focused mindset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a private household team
- Comfortable taking ownership and leading by example within a hands-on environment
