100' Private yacht is looking for a Mate/Engineer with a minimum of 100T license and AEC of strong engineering knowledge.

Salary will be in line with experience and references.

The Vessel.-

100ft RIVA CORSARO that is part of a larger fleet of vessels that are South Florida Based.

Geographical range of operation is Miami (40%) to Palm Beach (60%) and home berth is Town of Palm Beach Marina (Australian Dock).

The normal crew compliment is 3, Captain, Mate and Stewardess, but for larger cocktail parties we always add additional interior crew for service. With a compliment of 3 crew each crew member gets their own cabin but share a head.

The boat has a Williams 5.5m jet tender.

The Program.-

The vessel operational profile is primarily a South Florida private fixed base, short duration (2 to 4 hour) day cruise program that caters to both Private owners (Multiple) and corporate use. 95% of our guests are local area adults and it is very rare that we have overnight guests.

There is no fixed chef onboard, so all guest meal and large bar service is catered.

For day trips out in the Biscayne Bay Area where swimming is requested, the vessel will anchor and a stern swim platform is deployed but other than a guest overwatch no in water entertaining is required.

The owners really enjoy using their boats as part of their South Florida lifestyle and as there are larger vessels in the fleet, international travel for our vessel is not requested.

The Candidate.-

Can be Male or Female and is a career minded and licensed professional mariner, preferably in the 25 to 35 year old range, locally shore based and have their own transportation.

Additional candidate attributes and characteristics are as follows:

American or US Green Card Holder.

Fishing or diving skills could be of benefit.

Good knowledge of Miami waterways and Key Biscayne,

Spanish speaker a plus for Miami area operations.

Skilled in VOLY online accounting program.
