We are delighted to be working with a returning UHNW British client whose primary residence is in Emirates Hills, Dubai, but who spends significant time in the UK and Europe, especially over the summer months, in hiring a full-time European Female Personal Butler/Lady’s Maid. This is a truly unique and rewarding opportunity for an experienced, highly polished professional to become the Principal’s most trusted daily support, her right-hand woman in every sense. The role sits at the heart of a well-established household team and demands an individual of the highest calibre: discreet, composed, and entirely devoted to delivering an exceptional personal service.
The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the Principal on a day-to-day basis, managing her personal needs with seamless efficiency. She will collaborate with a wider team of household professionals, including nannies, housekeepers, drivers, butlers, and a private chef, as well as the family’s existing PA, to ensure the household operates with precision and grace. Light housekeeping responsibilities are included, though a full housekeeping team is already in situ.
You will be employed on a UAE contract, so therefore a tax-free salary and when in Dubai, you will organise your own accommodation. When you travel with the family or spend time outside of Dubai, accommodation is provided, and you earn an additional $50 per day. Candidates must hold a valid EU or UK passport. The family are currently in the UK and will be in Ibiza for the summer, so the role will start off being based there, with the plan to move back to Dubai later in the year. It is important that you have worked supporting a female Principal in fast-paced households. The family have 4 children.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Principal’s primary personal support, attending to her needs with discretion and anticipation
- Manage and maintain the Principal’s wardrobe to an immaculate standard, including garment care, seasonal organisation, and sourcing
- Oversee all packing and unpacking for travel, ensuring luggage is prepared to a meticulous standard
- Accompany the Principal on both domestic and international travel, providing seamless personal support throughout
- Carry out light housekeeping duties within the Principal’s private quarters, working in harmony with the full housekeeping team
- Run personal errands on behalf of the Principal, including shopping, collections, and bespoke requests
- Provide light PA support, including scheduling, appointment coordination, and correspondence, liaising closely with the family PA
- Assist with preparation for guests and ensure the Principal’s personal spaces are always immaculately presented
- Liaise with other household staff to ensure a cohesive and well-run household
- Manage personal shopping and gifting on behalf of the Principal, with a keen eye for quality and detail
- Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Respond with flexibility and composure to the changing needs of a dynamic UHNW household
Ideal Candidate
- Female, as requested by the client
- Previous experience in a senior personal butler or lady’s maid role within a UHNW or five-star luxury environment
- Impeccable wardrobe management skills, including knowledge of luxury brands, garment care, and personal shopping
- Experienced and confident travelling internationally with a Principal
- Holder of a valid EU or UK passport
- Polished, well-presented, and instinctively discreet
- Proactive and highly organised, with a calm and composed demeanour under pressure
- Comfortable working as part of a large household team while also operating independently
- Confident in providing light PA support alongside a dedicated family PA
Package
- Working schedule: 6 days a week
- Accommodation provided when in UK/Europe; no accommodation when ‘home’ in Dubai
- All travel expenses covered when accompanying the Principal
- Visa and health insurance provided
- Salary: 20,000 AED per month, tax-free
- Additional $50 per day when outside of the UAE
