A unique opportunity has become available for a captain with experience in Europe to be based in the South Pacific (NZ/Aus) within the next 12 months. Joining a 32m expedition yacht that has plans for one final European season and a brief winter yard time in France before shipping out to New Zealand. The vessel is used strictly for private use and will be cruising the Western Mediterranean for summer. The position could suit a New Zealand or Australian captain with Med experiences who wishes to find a program that would bring them home (open to all nationalities). The vessel is highly technical, and the captain should have a strong engineering foundation.

The Ideal Candidate
• Master 500gt or higher
• Longevity in previous roles
• Experience in both Europe and South Pacific (favourable)
• Good crew management experience
• Can manage yard times effectively
• Can commit to a travelling program
• Available for an immediate start

Start: 1-2 weeks (immediate requirement)

Salary: 9000€-12000€ / month DOE, 90 days annual leave
