Deckhand – 55m+ Private Support Vessel

Hill Robinson is presenting an opportunity for a Deckhand to join a 55m+ Support Vessel. The vessel runs a private programme, supporting a 100m+ motor yacht on a dual season itinerary.

Start: 1st July
Salary: EUR
Leave: 90 days (3:1)

Experience and attributes required:
* Minimum 6-12 months experience as Deckhand on 50m+ yachts
* Proven deck maintenance skills
* Team player
* Tender driving skills (preferred)
* Carpentry skills are a bonus but not essential

Qualifications required:
* Seafarer's Medical Certificate (valid minimum 6 months)
* STCW (fully updated)
* Seaman's Discharge Book (preferred)
* Yacht Rating Certificate or Yachtmaster
* Covid vaccinated with booster, client's request
* B1/B2 visa (preferred)

Must be willing to undergo extensive background checks and a pre-employment drug test. Professional appearance, non-smoker, no visible tattoos.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
