Deckhand/Engineer – Private/Charter 30m S/Y

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Deckhand/Engineer to join a 30m private and charter sailing yacht based in Italy. The yacht is looking for a practical, motivated candidate with solid deck skills and basic engineering knowledge, confident assisting with both day-to-day maintenance and guest operations.

Start date: ASAP

Itinerary: Italy / Mediterranean

Package: Salary paid in Euros, leave package to be confirmed

Experience/Skills required:

• Minimum 1 year’s experience as Deckhand/Engineer on a similar size yacht
• Strong deck skills and confident with general yacht maintenance
• Able to assist with basic engineering duties and troubleshooting
• Comfortable working on a sailing yacht and supporting charter operations
• Positive, hands-on attitude and happy to work within a small team
• Candidates already located in Europe only

Qualifications required:

• AEC 1 & 2
• STCW fully updated
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Seaman’s Discharge Book preferred

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
