About This role

Deckhand – Private – 40m M/Y

This is a great opportunity to join a busy 40m motor yacht operating as a private yacht in the Mediterranean. The yacht is looking for a motivated and energetic Deckhand with strong water sports knowledge and good tender driving skills, who enjoys working in a professional but friendly environment on board.

Package: Salary paid in Euros

Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 1 season’s experience as Deckhand on a yacht
• Strong water sports knowledge
• Confident tender driver with good boat handling skills
• Must be proficient at dinghy sailing
• Positive attitude, motivated, and team-oriented personality
• No visible tattoos, as per owner’s request

Qualifications required:
• STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (valid for at least 6 months)
• Powerboat Level 2 (PBL2)
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)

Candidates are expected to meet the listed criteria.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
