Position 1: Marketing Coordinator- $75,000 - $90,000 + Super (open to juniors)
Position 2: Junior Sales Coordinator- $80,000-$85,000 + Super (junior role)

A leading global Superyacht Insurance Company is looking for a former Superyacht / Marine professional to go shore based in their growing Sydney brokerage
This company focuses exclusively on superyacht and watercraft insurance—ideal for a superyacht professional or former superyacht crew looking to build a lasting career ashore.
The Marketing Role (open to a junior with marketing / business background)
- Helping Run Campaigns: Work with our team to plan, set up, and launch marketing campaigns across different channels like social media, email, and digital ads.
- Creating Content: Team up with our content creators to develop newsletters, social media updates and other marketing campaigns
- Owning Social Media: Create, schedule, and manage posts across our social platforms while keeping our brand voice consistent and engaging.
- Supporting Events: Help plan and pull off events like product launches, trade shows, webinars, and more, making sure every detail is covered.
- Collaborating with Others: Work with designers, copywriters, and external partners to produce marketing collateral that looks and feels on-brand.
- Keep an eye on our marketing performance metrics, report on what’s working (or not), and brainstorm ideas to improve.
The Junior Sales role will be trained up in the following
1. Client Consultation and Needs Assessment
• Engage with prospective and existing customers to identify their specific boat insurance needs.
• Educate clients on available coverage options, policy terms, and benefits to ensure informed decision-making.
• Customize insurance solutions to fit the client’s unique circumstances and preferences.
2. Customer Relationship Management
• Foster long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication, follow-ups, and support.
• Assist with policy renewals, amendments, and other services to maintain client satisfaction and retention.
• Resolve customer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
3. Policy Management and Compliance
• Work closely with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other internal teams to support policy issuance and maintenance.
• Ensure all customer interactions, policy documents, and sales activities are documented in the appropriate systems.
4. Market Awareness and Product Knowledge
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the boat and marine insurance market, including competitor products and services.
• Keep abreast of changes in insurance regulations and industry trends to better advise clients and enhance sales approaches.
• Participate in training programs and continuous learning opportunities to enhance product expertise and sales effectiveness.
What You’ll Need:
- 2+ years marine or yacht experience
- Deep understanding of the superyacht industry
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Microsoft Office proficiency
