We are working with a returning private chalet client in Les Gets to recruit two Temporary Hostesses for the upcoming summer season. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-run, high-end chalet operation, supporting the Chalet Manager and Chef in delivering an exceptional guest experience throughout the season. The successful candidates will play a central role in maintaining the impeccable standards expected within a luxury private chalet environment.

This is a busy and varied role, encompassing front-of-house service, housekeeping, laundry management, and guest-facing responsibilities. Candidates must be flexible, proactive, and comfortable working within a fast-paced team environment. A valid driving licence is desirable for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chalet Manager and Chef in the day-to-day running of the chalet
  • Deliver high standards of service across all guest-facing areas
  • Assist with breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and dinner service
  • Set up and clear tables according to service standards
  • Prepare and maintain bar setup and beverage service
  • Ensure all guest areas are clean, organised, and well presented at all times
  • Carry out daily housekeeping duties including morning room cleaning, bathroom cleaning and restocking, bed making, and linen changes
  • Perform evening turndown service to required standards
  • Manage laundry operations including washing, drying, ironing, and organisation of linen and guest clothing
  • Support spa and wellness setup including pool, jacuzzi, hammam, and massage room preparation
  • Assist with guest arrivals and departures including luggage handling and room preparation
  • Replenish guest amenities, towels, and minibar items where applicable
  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning products, linen, and guest supplies and report shortages
  • Maintain high attention to detail in all areas of the chalet
  • Assist with outdoor areas and general presentation of the property when required
  • Support driving operations where required (if licensed and assigned)
  • Adapt to changing schedules and guest needs in a flexible and proactive manner
  • Maintain a professional, discreet, and guest-focused attitude at all times
  • Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Ideal Candidate:

  • Must hold an EU passport/Right to work in France
  • Previous experience in a luxury chalet, hotel, or private household environment
  • Confident and polished front-of-house skills with a strong guest service ethos
  • Thorough housekeeping and laundry skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to use initiative in a dynamic environment
  • Professional, well-presented, and discreet at all times
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Flexible approach to working hours and schedules throughout the season

Package

  • Dates: Mid-June until end of July 2026
  • Accommodation provided
  • Salary: €1,000 net per week + DOE

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
