Silver Swan Recruitment is pleased to be working with a prestigious returning private chalet in Les Gets to appoint a reliable and professional Temporary Driver for the summer season. This is a wonderful opportunity to join an established chalet operation, providing exceptional guest transportation and supporting the wider property team throughout the placement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of guest transportation, vehicle management, and ski equipment organisation, whilst also providing invaluable support to the Chalet Manager and wider team across a range of operational and maintenance duties. This is a live-in position with accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all guest transportation including airport transfers, ski runs, and restaurant drop-offs and pick-ups
• Ensure timely, safe, and professional driving at all times
• Manage daily ski shuttle operations between the chalet and slopes, including Avoriaz and Les Gets
• Assist with guest luggage during arrivals and departures
• Maintain all chalet vehicles, including the Defender and Mercedes, covering cleaning, refuelling, and basic checks
• Coordinate with the Chalet Manager on daily transport schedules and any changes
• Monitor road and weather conditions to ensure safe travel at all times
• Oversee ski equipment organisation, including labelling skis and boots per guest, ensuring correct equipment prior to departures, and maintaining order and cleanliness in the ski room
• Support external contractors and maintenance teams when on site
• Maintain outdoor areas including the BBQ area, fire pit, and snow clearing to ensure safe access paths throughout the summer season
• Maintain pool and spa areas, including cleaning pool tiles using the pool cleaning machine and monitoring overall cleanliness and presentation
• Support logistics including deliveries, shopping collection, and supplier coordination
• Assist other departments when transport duties are not required
• Ensure the garage, storage, and technical areas are kept organised and safe
• Report any vehicle or property issues immediately to the Chalet Manager
• Maintain a professional, discreet, and service-oriented attitude at all times when interacting with guests
• Remain flexible and available for last-minute transport or operational needs as they arise

Ideal Candidate

• Must have a EU passport/Right to work in France
• Previous experience in a professional driving role, ideally within a private household, luxury hospitality, or chalet environment
• Full, clean driving licence essential; experience driving in alpine winter conditions highly desirable
• Confident handling larger vehicles such as a Defender or equivalent
• Proactive, well-organised, and able to manage a busy schedule with minimal supervision
• Physically capable and willing to assist with maintenance, snow clearing, and manual tasks
• Discreet, well-presented, and professional when interacting with high-net-worth guests
• A strong team player who is flexible and adaptable across departments
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• Available for the full contract period: mid-June until end of July 2026
