Chief Stewardess / Sole Stewardess with Support
M/Y Emilia — 112’ Westport Private Yacht
M/Y Emilia, a beautifully refit 112’ Westport private motor yacht, is seeking a permanent Chief Stewardess / Sole Stewardess with Support to join a long-term private program.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, organized, self-motivated stewardess who wants stability, clear expectations, a structured leave program, and the chance to be part of a serious but family-oriented yacht program.
Emilia is strictly private and does not charter. The owners are typically onboard approximately 6 months per year. The program is active, but not charter-style. It includes regular owner use, occasional guests, cruising, fishing, and maintaining the yacht to a high standard year-round.
Emilia recently completed a major two-year refit, during which the yacht was gutted and rebuilt to a very high standard. The refit was completed in 2024. The yacht has also just completed installation of new engines and generators, has crossed Panama, and is now making her way toward Alaska.
Schedule / Leave
This is a paid 12-month position with a structured leave program.
Crew receive 22 days off every third month, including travel time, for a total of 88 days off per year.
Salary is paid evenly across all 12 months, including leave periods. There is no difference in pay between working months and leave months.
Position Overview
This role is best described as a Sole Stewardess position with support.
Emilia carries both a Chief Stewardess and a second Stewardess. The Chief Stewardess is the primary person responsible for the interior standard and must be comfortable managing the interior independently at times.
The second Stewardess works primarily with the exterior team on a schedule of 4 days exterior, 1 day interior, and 1 day off. This means the Chief Stewardess will have interior support, but the position should still be approached as a strong sole-stew role.
Emilia has a strong cruising and fishing lifestyle and tows a 33’ Grady-White, Stella Maris, used for fishing operations. Teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude are very important.
