About This role

Deckhand – Charter 49m M/Y

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy 49m charter motor yacht operating in the Mediterranean. The yacht is looking for a motivated and reliable Deckhand to become part of a professional deck team, supporting all exterior operations and maintaining high standards on board. A great role for someone solid in their experience and ready to step up in a dynamic charter environment.

Start date: 15 May 2026
Itinerary: Mediterranean (based in Italy)
Package: Salary paid in Euros, 60 days paid leave

Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deckhand on yachts
• Strong deck skills including washdowns, maintenance, and line handling
• Good tender driving skills and confidence in guest operations
• Positive attitude and strong team player
• Ability to work well under pressure during busy charter periods

Qualifications required:
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (ENG1)
• Powerboat Level 2
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
