An opportunity has arisen for a highly capable and experienced Domestic Couple to join a private family at their beautiful rural residence in the West Midlands. Set within extensive grounds, this is a well-maintained and much-loved home requiring a proactive and hands-on couple to take full responsibility for its smooth day-to-day running.
This is a long-term position suited to a couple who enjoy country living and take genuine pride in maintaining both a home and its grounds to an excellent standard. The family are informal yet value professionalism, discretion and a well-organised household.

Job Description
This is a fully hands-on role requiring a couple who can work collaboratively and take ownership across both the interior and exterior of the property.
Housekeeping responsibilities will include maintaining the home to a high standard, including cleaning, laundry, ironing and general organisation. There will be some light, family-style cooking as required, along with assisting during busier periods when the family are in residence.
The exterior role will involve the ongoing care and presentation of the grounds, including lawns, hedges and general upkeep, alongside basic property maintenance and ensuring everything is running efficiently. The role will also involve liaising with contractors, overseeing works when required and taking a proactive approach to identifying any issues.
Additional duties will include driving for errands, shopping and occasional transport requirements, as well as general household support to ensure the property runs seamlessly.

Candidate Requirements
Proven experience working as a Domestic Couple within a private household, boat or estate
Strong housekeeping and laundry skills combined with hands-on maintenance and gardening experience
Practical, proactive and able to manage workload independently
Excellent communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude
Confident drivers
Discreet, trustworthy and professional
Happy to live and work in a rural setting

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary
Monday to Friday with flexibility required
Working hours typically based around a 40–50 hour week between the couple
Separate, well-presented accommodation provided
Salary £80,000–£85,000 gross per annum combined, dependent on experience
