Temporary Chauffeur – Madrid

We are working with a private client based in Madrid to assist in hiring a temporary Private Chauffeur on a full-time basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to work within a warm and well-organised household, providing safe, reliable transportation for a family of five — including three young children aged nine and six — across the city and surrounding areas. The role is initially confirmed until the 15th of June 2026, with the potential for extension depending on the family's requirements. The successful candidate will work closely alongside the household nanny and the Principal's wife, who will always accompany the children during travel. The family provides their own Mercedes-Benz Viano, so no personal vehicle is required. The role is open to candidates currently based in Madrid, as the position is required to commence as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct the school run each morning, collecting children from home and transporting them safely to the school (30 mins driving approx.)
• Return to collect the children from school at the designated time each afternoon
• Transport the Principal to appointments, meetings, and places of interest throughout the day
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and a calm, courteous manner at all times
• Ensure the family vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy
• Liaise closely with the nanny and the Principal's wife, who will accompany the children at all times
• Plan and navigate routes efficiently, accounting for Madrid traffic and school schedules
• Assist with light errands and collections as required by the Principal or household
• Maintain full discretion and confidentiality in all matters relating to the family
• Be flexible and responsive to last-minute changes in schedule or itinerary

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a private or professional chauffeur, ideally within a family or UHNW household environment
• Confident driving in Madrid, with a thorough knowledge of the city and surrounding areas
• Clean, valid driving licence with an impeccable record
• English-speaking — a working knowledge of English is essential; Spanish is advantageous
• Comfortable and experienced in transporting young children, with a patient and reassuring manner
• Discreet, trustworthy, and professional at all times
• Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach to changing schedules
• Well-presented, punctual, and reliable
• Able to commence the role as soon as possible

Package

• Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00/17:00 (hours may vary)
• Contract: Temporary role starting ASAP and confirmed until 15th June 2026, with potential for extension
• Vehicle provided by the family — Mercedes-Benz Viano
• Salary: €600 net per week + DOE
