We are delighted to be working with a distinguished UHNW Principal based in Abu Dhabi to recruit an exceptional Private Chef / House Manager. The Principal and his wife reside in a large and beautifully maintained private residence. They are self-sufficient and independent in their daily lives but seek a polished, capable professional who can take genuine ownership of the household, bring structure and excellence to their environment, and ease the running of the property in a meaningful way.
This is primarily a house management role, with cooking forming a key part of the position. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of household operations — from managing suppliers and staff to planning and executing private events and dinners with confidence and flair. The Principal and his wife entertain on occasion and require someone who understands etiquette, can curate the right atmosphere, and has the culinary expertise to match. A current member of staff may transition to support in a housekeeping capacity, and the new recruit will be instrumental in shaping how the household runs.
With an additional property currently under construction and a broader portfolio developing, there is genuine scope for this role to evolve into a multi-estate position in the future. The successful candidate will begin by developing and enhancing the existing household manual, instilling best practice, and setting a new standard of service. This is a truly exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who combines culinary excellence with strong leadership and household management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations and presentation of a large private residence in Abu Dhabi to an exceptional standard
- Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance the household manual, building on the work of the current team
- Manage supplier and contractor relationships, ensuring all maintenance, deliveries, and services are executed efficiently
- Plan, coordinate, and execute private events and formal gatherings, demonstrating a thorough understanding of etiquette and protocol
- Design and prepare menus for lunches, dinners, and entertaining occasions, with a strong command of Turkish and Arabic cuisine
- Provide skilled cookery for the Principal and his wife on a day-to-day basis and for guests when required
- Manage household inventory, including groceries, consumables, and household supplies, ensuring everything is stocked to the highest standard
- Liaise with and manage additional domestic staff, including the existing housekeeper, should they transition into a support role
- Ensure the property is immaculately presented at all times, anticipating the needs of the Principal and his wife
- Provide chef support on the principals' personal yachts when required, managing galley supplies and coordinating with yacht crew
- Support future oversight of additional properties as the Principal's portfolio expands, with genuine potential for role growth
- Maintain the utmost discretion and confidentiality in all aspects of work within the household
Ideal Candidate
- A female candidate is preferred, though strong male candidates will also be considered

- Experience working within a UHNW or high-profile private household environment
- Highly organised, proactive, and capable of working with a high degree of autonomy
- Comfortable developing and managing household documentation, systems, and processes
